This morning, I had a pleasant exchange with a very warm-hearted nurse from Sicily. She has two children, one of which is a fasion / product designer in New York. She's sixty years old with six grandchildren. We talked about Italy, design, and how to say Bongiorno, Buona Sera, Arrivederci, and Io vorrei imparare Italiano. Really nice lady, makes me happy to have an Italian grandmother here.
Add oil, Justin. Be strong and happy. Do you bring Pipa with you and practice it still?
Hey favorite cousin - verses that came to mind while I was praying for you were "This sickness will not end in death. No it is for God's glory so that God's son may be glorified through it." and "He will not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is steadfast trusting in the Lord." Trust in God, who is the great healer. His will is always perfect and His timing is always perfect. We do not currently know what His will is for you at the moment and we just have to trust in Him who will bring you through this period. God is always with you through every test and every treatment. We are also with you spiritually, supporting you through everything. We all love you and miss you loads. We will continue to pray for you everyday and we look forward to welcoming you home very soon. xoxoxoxoxo
My dearest favourite cousin, was really nice talking to you the other night. Good to know that you're really positive. Wish I could be with you physically but I'll always be with you with prayers and with all my love. In life there are many challenges but God's grace is always sufficient for us. Have faith in Him! Stay strong, keep holding on and everything will be ok! We'll always keep you in our prayers. You're never alone, we'll always be with you and as you said you can feel it! We miss you but looking forward to seeing you again soon! We love you very very much. Don't worry and be happy! :) :) :) :)
You are so brave! Be tough, Be positive. We will always supportive. God will always be with you.
Hey Justin. I hope that you are finding strength, peace and assurance through this challenging time. I look forward to getting to chat with or see you sometime soon and pray for your speedy recovery. Do not fear. Get well my friend. Ebi
Justin, Its really sad to hear that. Stay STRONG. We ALL support you!I know you are the bravest man I have met! How are you feeling now? Do you have to come back to the hospital to do tests every day? I have consulted a nurse friend and she says its good to consult more other doctors from another hospital or from other locations e.g. HK, as the docs may have different opinions and may give you a way to get it cured. Dont give up. We are waiting for your Pipa performance!!!
Justin,Stay strong and keep that brilliant mind of yours working. I know that if there's anybody who can fight this you can...( i remember those punches to the gut that you voluntarily accepted back at school! )I'll be thinking of you and hoping for your speedy recovery.Alex
My dear long lost cousin... Last time we saw each other, we were at Tokyo Lobby in Los Angeles. Be strong. You've got many, many family members in Los Angeles praying and fighting with you and for you. Keep your spirit up and get some rest, OK?
Justin,I can't help but think of the night that we were at sami's apartment (maybe fondue night?) and you sat mesmorized by the puzzle box. You were making drawings and coming up with theories as to how it worked... Your strength and genius will pull you through this. My thoughts and prayers are with you always,Sharon
Hey, Justin--It seriously sucks to get back in touch like this. In case my name doesn't show, it's Nick J from RISD. Trent let us know about your blog.Get well soon, huh? If there's any more medical trivia you need, I'd be happy to provide, of course.

Justine, long time, heyJust got a text from Sharon, ran home through the rain. It has been raining beautifully for the last few days in Seoul. I'm worried but relieved because you sound very determined. I'm sure the heart of yours that used to pound for beautiful music and art will be the bravest one for you and for all of us this time.Connecticut feels so near, I feel like I could jump on a train now- but I will see you when I finally fly over the Pacific. k? until than, will be sending positive spirits right through the big globe. :)look forward to see more posts of recovery. Justin, this is Peter and Linda and Berenger using his account. Just a short note for now telling you that you've got us in your corner as well. Courage and strength are easy to talk about, but you're showing us all what it means to be those very things we really prize. Be well so Berenger can play with you again.
Justine, this is a shocking news to me. I thought you are in HK and still living your super busy life... Anyway, you are in my prayer! Be strong and get well soon!
Hey i'm back, just checking on you :) 힘내, 화잇팅!!
Justin, It's Beth from RISD, I have been keeping in touch with Sami about everything and how you are doing... I just want you to know that you are in my prayers and I'm here for you! I love reading your posts and all the wonderful things you talk about..Remember that time you helped me with a paper in school? And you stayed up until 4 in the morning to make sure I had an A+ paper? Oh the laughs I get from that still as I remember banging my head against the pillow from lack of sleep and feeling like I was going crazy! Thanks so much for that :) I'm going to try to come up with Sami next time she comes to visit! Stay strong, and well, and always remember, you have tons of people that love you!
