Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there were one set of footprints. This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints. So I said to the Lord, "You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there have only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?" Dearest Just-Just,You are so brave. We thank the Lord for being with you and praise Him for all His grace. Once again, He has answered our prayers. This shows us how powerful prayers are and that He never fails. God's grace is sufficient for us and He is so good. In Mark 11:24 "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Jesus also told us in Matthew 17:19-20 when he said "I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, `Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." We pray that the remaining part of the surgery will be carried out smoothly. We also pray that you would rest well and have a speedy recovery. We got the fantastic news from Laura N today, to those who kept us in the know, we thank you very much. Justin, you are a courageous person, and an inspiration to all our family, both young & old. My prayer buddy shared this with me again today - great reminder - "When he heard this, Jesus said, "This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it." John 11:4We thank God for the miracle last night. We thank Him for the blessings he has showered on our family. Looking back, everything was within God's perfect plan. The timing for everything was perfect - the diagnose 2 days before you were due to leave for HK, the transfer to Sloan Kettering, everything was planned perfectly by our almighty God. We do not understand why you have to go through this but as the bible says "we are called not just to believe in Christ, but suffer for Christ". Through your suffering and sharing, we brought together many people from around the world to pray together for you and with you. It is amazing to see all these people gathering in the name of God. Justin, we are so happy that the tumor is gone. We are looking forward to welcoming you back! Love you loads and missing you loads!V
